google analytics - OnButtonCLick tag is not firing? -

i have defined trigger having event name "gtmevent" , tag "accountcreated". when click on button ("createaccount") goes next page. tag not fired , in summary event not listed when check google analytics through console found tag there in event name.

is when click on page , after clicking stayed @ same page event listed on summary otherwise lost. ??
